WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA

1127 AM CDT SUN AUG 2 2015

LATE MORNING SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY TO SUNNY. MORNING LOWS WERE
IN THE MID 50S TO UPPER 60S. LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE
LOW TO MID 80S WITH SOUTHWEST WINDS GUSTING OCCASIONALLY TO 30
MPH.

CLOUDS WILL INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE EARLY THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS...THEN
AGAIN IN THE LATE AFTERNOON AS STORMS APPROACH THE AREA FROM THE
NORTH AND SLIDE SOUTHEAST TO SOUTH ACROSS NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA.  THE STORMS COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE...WITH
THE MAIN THREAT BEING DAMAGING WINDS. BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED WITH SOUTHWEST WINDS AT 15 TO 25 MPH AND GUSTS UP TO 35
MPH. HIGHS WILL BE IN THE UPPER 80S. STORM CHANCES COME TO AND
END BEFORE MIDNIGHT.

PREDAWN MONDAY MORNING THE COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA
AND THE WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST WITH MUCH COOLER AIR
ARRIVING. SKIES WILL BECOME MOSTLY CLEAR. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES
WILL BE COOLER IN THE LOWER 80S.
