WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 25N FROM 130E TO 180.

A SHEAR LINE EXTENDS WESTWARD FROM 22N180 TO 22N160 THEN CONTINUES
SOUTHWESTWARD TO NEAR GUAM AT 13N146E TO 8N130E. LOW CLOUDS AND
PATCHY SHOWERS ARE SEEN UP TO 240 MILES NORTH OF THE SHEAR LINE.
THESE SHOWERS ARE NORTH OF KOROR AND YAP BUT ARE PASSING THROUGH
THE MARIANAS.

A BUFFER RUNS EASTWARD ALONG THE EQUATOR FROM 130E TO 147E. SLOWING
WINDS CONVERGING INTO THIS FEATURE ARE GENERATING SCATTERED SHOWERS
AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WITHIN 60 MILES OF A LINE FROM 3N132E TO
EQ142E AND BETWEEN 2N AND 7N FROM 139E TO 148E WHICH INCLUDES
SOUTHERN YAP STATE.

TRADE-WIND CONVERGENCE AND A TRADE-WIND DISTURBANCE ARE CAUSING
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN 4N AND 9N FROM
150E TO 167E...INCLUDING CHUUK...POHNPEI AND KOSRAE. SCATTERED
SHOWERS ARE ALSO FOUND EAST OF 167E TO 176E...INCLUDING KWAJALEIN
AND MAJURO.
