...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EASTERN MORTON...GRANT...
SOUTHEASTERN STANTON AND STEVENS COUNTIES UNTIL 500 AM CDT...

At 352 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Big Bow to 8 miles south of Feterita.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible.
Frequent lightning is expected.
Locally heavy rainfall may lead to localized flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Ulysses, Hugoton, Rolla, Moscow, Big Bow, Feterita, Hickok and The
Milepost Elevator.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
