...Scattered storms and showers with small hail possible through 7
AM...

An area of scattered thunderstorms and showers has developed and will
move east across the region through 7 AM. The strongest storms may
produce small hail up to a half inch in diameter and brief heavy
downpours. Most locations will see light rain amounts with some
localized amounts over a quarter of inch.
