...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 452 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Matagorda, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm. Brief
funnel clouds may also be possible as it moves southeast.

Locations impacted include...
Matagorda, South Texas Nuclear Plant and Wadsworth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
