...LIGHT SNOW AND SOME TRAVEL PROBLEMS EARLY TUESDAY MORNING...

THE DISTURBANCE THAT BROUGHT THE LIGHT SNOW TO THE EASTERN HALF OF
MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS EVENING HAS NOW EXITED THE AREA WITH LIGHT
SNOW OR FLURRIES QUICKLY DIMINISHING. MOST OF THE REPORTS THUS FAR
MENTIONED A DUSTING OF SNOW ON GRASSY AREAS AND ROOFTOPS WITH 1/2
INCH OF SNOW EAST OF SMITHVILLE. MOST ROADS HAVE REMAINED WET BUT
THERE ARE A FEW SLICK SPOTS. AS TEMPERATURES DIP BELOW FREEZING
THIS MORNIG WE COULD SEE MORE SLICK AREAS DEVELOP ON ROADWAYS,
ESPECIALLY BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.

ANOTHER UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE CURRENTLY PULLING OFF LOWER LAKE
MICHIGAN WILL LIKELY BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW TO MAINLY
NORTHEAST MIDDLE TENNESSEE AND THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU EARLY THIS
MORNING.

WHILE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE LESS THAN AN INCH, SOME TRAVEL HAZARDS
MAY OCCUR. TRAVELERS MAY ENCOUNTER SOME SLICK ROADS IN THESE
AREAS. CAUTION IS ADVISED, ESPECIALLY FOR SECONDARY ROADS, BRIDGES
AND OVERPASSES.
