A STRONG UPPER LEVEL TROUGH ASSOCIATED WITH LOW PRESSURE OVER THE
ARCTIC WILL BEGIN A SLOW MOVE EAST ACROSS NORTHERN ALASKA ON
SUNDAY. BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON THERE WILL BE RAIN OVER MUCH OF THE
WEST COAST FROM EAST OF SAINT LAWRENCE ISLAND AND FROM NORTH OF
KOTZEBUE SOUND TO SOUTH OF NORTON SOUND AND THE WESTERN
INTERIOR...WITH RAINFALL OF ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH. THROUGH
SUNDAY NIGHT...RAIN COVERAGE WILL EXPAND EAST...WITH ADDITIONAL
RAIN OF ONE HALF TO ONE INCH. ANOTHER ONE HALF TO ONE INCH WILL
BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY.

THIS SITUATION WILL BE CLOSELY MONITORED FOR POSSIBLE FLOOD
