403 AM CDT SUN APR 30 2017 /303 AM MDT SUN APR 30 2017/

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE NORTHWARD ACROSS THE PLAINS TODAY AND
EVENTUALLY SPREAD RAINFALL INTO EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA BY LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING. LATER
TONIGHT...RAIN WILL SWITCH TO WET SNOW AND ACCUMULATE TO SEVERAL
INCHES ACROSS HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA. WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORIES AND WINTER STORM WARNINGS HAVE BEEN POSTED FROM
EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA INTO PARTS OF MINNESOTA. THIS SYSTEM WILL BE OUT
OF THE AREA BY MONDAY EVENING AS A COUPLE MORE ADDITIONAL UPPER LEVEL
WAVES AFFECT THE AREA INTO TUESDAY. THESE SYSTEMS WILL BRING THE
CHANCE FOR A FEW SHOWERS.

HIGHS TODAY WILL RISE INTO THE 50S AND 60S. LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP
INTO THE 30S. HIGHS ON MONDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE 4OS ACROSS FAR
EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA TO THE 6OS OVER
CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA.
