Present movement...north-northeast...020 degrees at 21 mph.

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 700 AM ChST...2100 UTC...the eye of Super Typhoon Lan was located
near latitude 26.5 degrees North and longitude 133.8 degrees East.
Lan is moving north-northeast at 21 mph. Lan is expected continue to
the north-northeast before turning northeast near Japan on Monday.
Super Typhoon Lan will gradually speed up in forward motion the next
couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are up to 155 mph. Super Typhoon Lan will
resume a slow weakening trend this afternoon that will continue the
next several days as it becomes extratropical.

Typhoon force winds extend outward up to 100 miles from the center.
Tropical storm force winds extend up to 340 miles from the center.
