The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Dickinson County in central Kansas...
  Northwestern Geary County in east central Kansas...
  Southwestern Riley County in northeastern Kansas...
  Southeastern Clay County in north central Kansas...

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 808 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Moonlight, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud. At 806 PM,
           trained spotters reported a funnel cloud 1 mile east of
           Abilene.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Junction City, Abilene, Chapman, Wakefield, Milford, Milford Lake,
  and Moonlight.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 275 and 288.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
