4 PM AKDT TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FAIRBANKS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS
EVENING TO 4 PM AKDT TUESDAY.

* LOCATION...ABOVE 1500 FEET.

* SNOW...WITH STORM TOTALS 4 TO 6 INCHES.

* TIMING...HEAVY SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT OVER THE DALTON
  HIGHWAY AND SPREAD EAST TO ARCTIC VILLAGE BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
  SNOW WILL TAPER OFF FROM THE WEST ON TUESDAY.

* IMPACTS...HEAVY SNOW WILL MAKE TRAVEL ABOVE 1500 FEET DIFFICULT
  ESPECIALLY IN ATIGUN PASS. SNOW BELOW 1500 FEET WILL MELT AS IT
  HITS THE GROUND.
