...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT /9 PM MDT/
THIS EVENING...

* TIMING...Light snow and strong winds will persist through 10 pm.


* SNOW ACCUMULATION...Additional accumulations of an inch or less
  are expected.

* WIND...North at 25 to 40 mph.

* MAIN IMPACT...Significant impacts likely! Expect tree limb
  damage due to loading on trees from heavy, wet snow and strong
  gusty winds. Power interruptions possible. Snow covered roads
  with visibility commonly reduced to 1/2 mile or less at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring.  Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
an emergency. If you must travel...keep an extra flashlight...
food...and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS
EVENING...

* TIMING...Light snow will gradually taper off this evening.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...An inch or less of additional accumulation.

* WIND...North at 20 to 30 mph, gusting as high as 40 mph.

* MAIN IMPACT...Heavy wet snow with strong winds could result in
  downed tree limbs and possible power outages.

* OTHER IMPACTS...Travel will be hazardous with slick roads and
  reduced visibilities. Snow covered roads with visibility
  reduced to 1/2 mile at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
