URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Hastings NE
1243 AM CST Mon Jan 22 2018

...Blizzard Conditions More Widespread After 6 AM...

.The first wave of snow fell from Ord to Lexington and points to
the northwest. A second band of snow is expected to begin
developing along Interstate 80 over central Nebraska around 4 AM
and expand in coverage across much of south central Nebraska
between 6 AM and 9 AM. The snow will be lighter as you head south
into northern Kansas. Overall forecast snowfall amounts have been
lowered some due to the delayed onset, but the strong winds are
still expected to gust to around 50 mph making for near impossible
travel Monday morning where we see the heavier snow bands.
