URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW CONTINUING ACROSS SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON AND THE IDAHO
PANHANDLE TONIGHT...

.Moderate snowfall is expected across southeast Washington and
into the southern to central portions of the Idaho Panhandle this
evening. Snow will transition to showers with snow focusing over
the Central Panhandle Mountains and Camas Prairie overnight.
Roads will be snow covered with slick conditions expected for the
evening commute.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow occurring. Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the evening commute. Additional snow
  accumulations of up to 2 inches are expected.

* WHERE...Coeur d`Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Worley, Spokane,
  Cheney, Davenport, and Rockford.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow covered roads will result in hazardous
  travel. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation occurring. Plan on slippery road
  conditions, including during the evening commute. Additional
  snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with mountain
  accumulations up to 5 inches, and ice accumulations of a light
  glaze are expected.

* WHERE...Moscow, Plummer, Potlatch, Genesee, Kellogg, Pinehurst,
  Osburn, Wallace, Mullan, Fourth of July Pass, Dobson Pass,
  Lookout Pass, Lewiston, Lapwai, Peck, Culdesac, Gifford,
  Clarkston, Pomeroy, Pullman, Colfax, Rosalia, La Crosse,
  Oakesdale, Tekoa, and Uniontown. Periods of freezing rain and
  sleet will be possible from LaCrosse to Pomeroy.

* WHEN...Steady snow expected through the evening and then
  transitioning over to showers overnight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow covered roads and icy conditions
  will result in hazardous travel conditions. Walking surfaces
  may also become slick and icy. Freezing rain will be more
  likely over Highway 12, State Route 26 and State Route 127
  with snow more likely along and east of Highway 195.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow covered roads will make for hazardous
  travel tonight...including Highway 95 over the Camas Prairie.
