...SIGNIFICANT SNOWS EXPECTED SATURDAY...

.SNOW ACCUMULATIONS DOWN TO THE VALLEY FLOORS SATURDAY WILL
PRODUCE HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS FOR MOTORISTS TRAVELING ON
THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 90 FROM JUST EAST
OF COEUR D`ALENE TO THE IDAHO-MONTANA BORDER. GUSTY WINDS IN
EXPOSED AREAS COULD SEVERELY RESTRICT VISIBILITIES DUE TO BLOWING
SNOW. TRAVELERS ARE URGED TO PREPARE FOR WINTER TRAVEL
CONDITIONS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 3 INCHES VALLEYS...WITH 4 TO 8
  INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS ON AVERAGE.

* TIMING...DAYTIME SATURDAY.

* IMPACTS...INITIALLY A RAPID TRANSITION FOLLOWING RAIN IN THE
  VALLEYS SATURDAY MORNING COULD RESULT IN FLASH FREEZING ON
  ROADS. THIS WOULD THEN BE FOLLOWED BY A COVERING OF SNOW.
  BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE FOR EXPOSED AREAS IN
  THE MOUNTAINS.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 15 MPH. GUSTS TO 35 MPH ON EXPOSED MOUNTAIN
  RIDGES PRODUCING BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW.
