TO 9 AM CST THURSDAY...

* EVENT...RAIN WILL TRANSITION TO FREEZING RAIN AND EVENTUALLY TO
  SLEET AND SNOW AS COLD AIR DEEPENS OVER THE FOUR STATE AREA.

* TIMING...FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED DURING THE EVENING HOURS
  FOLLOWED BY A TRANSITION TO SLEET AND SNOW AFTER MIDNIGHT.

* IMPACT...FREEZING RAIN AMOUNTS OF ONE TENTH...TO QUARTER INCH
  FOLLOWED BY SLEET AND OR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE TO THREE
  INCHES WILL MAKE DRIVING CONDITIONS EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS NORTH
  OF THE I-20 CORRIDOR.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF ICE...SLEET AND
SNOW ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING...MAKING TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR
PERHAPS EVEN IMPOSSIBLE ESPECIALLY OVER BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.
EXPECT LIMITED VISIBILITY IN SNOW AND PERHAPS EVEN SLIPPERY ROADS.

* EVENT...RAIN WILL BEGIN TO TRANSITION TO FREEZING RAIN LATE THIS
  EVENING OR OVERNIGHT AND THEN PERHAPS OVER TO SLEET BY DAYBREAK
  AS THE COLD AIR DEEPENS OVER THE AREA ALONG AND SOUTH OF I-20.

* TIMING...WINTRY PRECIPITATION IN THE FORM OF FREEZING RAIN IS
  EXPECTED PERHAPS BY LATE THIS EVENING AND ESPECIALLY OVERNIGHT
  FOLLOWED BY A TRANSITION TO SLEET BEFORE DAYBREAK.

* IMPACT...FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF LESS THAN A
  TENTH OF AN INCH MAY MAKE DRIVING CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS...MAINLY
  ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE I-20 CORRIDOR.
