This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the
National Weather Service office in Birmingham.
.DAY ONE...Outlook through Tonight.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
There is a Level 1 out of 5 risk of severe storms across much of
Central Alabama Friday morning through Friday evening. Threats
include damaging winds up to 60 mph and quarter size hail.
A couple rounds of showers and storms are expected Friday through
Sunday. Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher
amounts are possible, with the highest amounts on Friday. This may
cause minor flooding, especially in urban and other poor drainage
areas.

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed on
Friday.
