...A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 10 AM to 10 PM Today
for portions of south central and southeast Colorado...

...A Red Flag Warning has been issued from 9 AM TO 10 PM Tuesday
for portions of south central and southeast Colorado...

...A Fire Weather Watch has been issued from Wednesday morning
through Wednesday evening for portions of south central and
southeast Colorado.

.Discussion...

In the wake of a cold front, strong winds will become westerly
this morning and into this afternoon across the area. Winds will
be 25-35 mph with gusts to 40-60 mph. Winds again will be strong
on Tuesday, sustained at 25-30 mph with gusts to 40-50 mph. Fuels
are still critical in the San Luis Valley and portions of the SE
Plains, thus with min relative humidity values in the lower teens
and strong winds, fire weather conditions will be in place today,
Tuesday, and again on Wednesday.

Ventilation rates for smoke dispersion will become excellent
during the afternoon hours through Wednesday due to strong winds
and deep mixing.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
