...INCREASED FLOOD POTENTIAL FOR THE WEISER BASIN...WEST CENTRAL
AND BOISE MOUNTAINS FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...

A MOIST PACIFIC SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BRING MODERATE TO HEAVY
PRECIPITATION TO THE WEISER BASIN...WEST CENTRAL MOUNTAINS...AND
BOISE MOUNTAINS LATE THIS WEEK. WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION TOTALS OF
1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY
EVENING. SNOW LEVELS WILL RISE TO BETWEEN 5500 AND 6500 FEET LATE
FRIDAY...THEN LOWER TO NEAR 4000 FEET ON SUNDAY.

THE COMBINATION OF RAIN AND SNOWMELT MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF
CREEKS...DITCHES...AND STORM WATER DRAINS. STANDING WATER MAY
IMPACT LOW LYING COUNTY ROADS...FIELDS AND PASTURES.

STEEP TERRAIN AND WILDFIRE BURN SCARS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
SUSCEPTIBLE TO ROCK AND MUD SLIDES.

MAINSTEM RIVER FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME...BUT
SIGNIFICANT RISES WILL OCCUR. THE WEISER RIVER AT WEISER IS
FORECAST TO CREST WITHIN A FOOT OF FLOOD STAGE SATURDAY NIGHT OR
EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.
