...ANOTHER ROUND OF FLOODING POSSIBLE ALONG THE BIG WOOD RIVER IN
GOODING COUNTY...

Warm temperatures have increased the melting of high elevation
snowpack in the Big Wood River Basin. This will cause water levels
on the Big Wood River to increase downstream of Magic Reservoir
late this week, with the potential for flooding along the river
in Gooding County.

River flows below Magic Dam are forecast to increase above 5300
CFS on Thursday. These higher flows will travel downstream and may
cause flooding in Gooding County beginning Friday. High flows and
the potential for flooding will continue over the weekend.

Those with interests along the Big Wood River should be alert to
rising water levels over the next several days, and take
appropriate measure to protect property.
