AVALANCHE DANGER IS EASING...THOUGH BACKCOUNTRY TRAVELERS STILL NEED
TO EXERCISE CAUTION IN COLORADO`S BACKCOUNTRY TODAY.


* TIMING...THE AVALANCHE WARNING EXPIRES AT 06:00 AM ON 01/12/2017.

* AFFECTED AREAS...THIS WARNING INCLUDED AREAS IN THE NORTH...AND
  CENTRAL MOUNTAINS...INCLUDING...THE PARK RANGE...ELK HEAD
  MOUNTAINS...FLAT TOPS MOUNTAINS....FRONT RANGE...TEN MILE
  RANGE...GORE RANGE...AND THE MOUNTAINS NEAR ASPEN.

* AVALANCHE DANGER...CURRENTLY RATED CONSIDERABLE.

* REASON...THE AVALANCHE DANGER IS DECREASING AS THE NEW SNOW BEGINS
