FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHEAST AND NORTH CENTRAL

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...A weak upper level disturbance
will move across Northern Colorado this morning with continued rain
and snow showers over the Front Range and adjacent plains. Showers
will diminish this afternoon with partial clearing skies.
Temperatures will be warmer today with lower humidity levels.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Sunday through Wednesday...Warm and mostly
dry conditions Sunday and Monday, with strong southerly winds across
the plains Sunday then strong downslope west winds over the
foothills late Sunday night into Monday morning. Flow aloft will
increase Monday evening through Wednesday, while Pacific moisture
increases, producing periods of light snow in the mountains and the
chance of afternoon showers on the plains each day. Temperatures
will be above or near seasonal normals.
