Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
317 PM MDT Tue Apr 25 2017

.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...A cold front will push
through late afternoon and early this evening. This will bring
gusty north winds and higher humidities. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms are expected this evening along and after the
frontal passage. Dry conditions will return late this evening. For
Wednesday, a cool northwest flow will prevail with highs similar
to today. Relative humidities will fall into the 20s during the
afternoon. An unstable airmass will lead to isolated showers and
storms Wednesday afternoon.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...It will
remain cool and unsettled through the period. One storm system
will bring accumulating snow to the mountains through Thursday,
with a few rain showers and isolated thunderstorms possible on the
plains. Temperatures will turn even colder by Friday and Saturday
with high humidity readings and a chance of more widespread
snowfall. Smoke dispersion should be good to excellent Thursday,
and aided by precipitation Friday into Saturday.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
