Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
310 PM MDT Sun Oct 15 2017

.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Monday...A dry and warm
airmass will move over the state on Monday ahead of a high pressure
ridge building over the Great Basin. The foothills in Boulder and
Larimer Counties and higher areas of northern Larimer and Weld
Counties up along the Cheyenne Ridge could see gusty west winds of
15-30 mph and min RH values of 8-15 percent for a few hours tomorrow
afternoon. These conditions will elevate the fire danger in these
areas. However, a fire weather watch will not be issued at this time
because of the short duration of these conditions and their limited
extent.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday night through Friday...It will remain dry
Tuesday through Friday except for A slight chance of showers in the
mountains Friday afternoon. Temperatures will remain above normal with
low humidities. Winds will increase Thursday and Friday with elevated
Fire Danger at lower elevations.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
