WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...Strong west to southwesterly
flow aloft will continue over the region.  The fire danger will
will remain high through early this evening with some improvement
thereafter.  In the foothills, some stronger gusts are expected to
redevelop overnight with gusts to 60 mph possible late tonight and
Wednesday morning.  Relative humidities will be slow to recover in
the windier areas overnight.  Not as warm on Wednesday but still well
above normal.  The fire danger will remain elevated due to the dry
fuels and warm conditions.  At this time, the main area of concern will
shift to the south and southeast of Denver, which is where the Fire
Weather Watch has been issued.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...A Pacific
storm system will move across Wyoming Thursday. This is expected
to bring snow the mountains Wednesday night and across the plains
on Thursday. The heaviest snowfall is expected to be near the
Wyoming border. Cool conditions will prevail Friday and through
the weekend. A few snow showers will be possible Friday over the
plains, otherwise it will be dry. Snow showers will be possible
over the mountains through the weekend.
