Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
428 AM MDT Sun Mar 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...A weather system will bring a chance of
rain showers at lower elevations with a chance of snow showers at higher
elevations today along with cooler temperatures. The weather system will
move east of the area by tonight with showers ending in the early evening hours.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday through Thursday...An active
weather pattern promises to produce periods of clouds and
precipitation through the end of this week. The next storm system is
predicted to pass over the state Tuesday into Wednesday night,
followed by dry and warmer weather on Thursday. Then a return to wet
and unsettled weather with another storm system anywhere from late
Friday through Sunday morning. Even though temperatures are expected
to remain near to slightly above average, higher relative
humidities, greater cloud cover and the potential for wetting
precipitation should significantly lower the wildland fire danger
this week.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
