Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
601 AM MDT Sun Sep 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Cool moist air will remain over
the plains today. There has been some drying over the mountains.
Another weather system will bring more showers this afternoon and
evening.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday through Thursday...
An upper level trough of low pressure will continue to bring cool
unsettled weather to north central and northeastern Colorado on
Monday. It will remain cool on Tuesday but drier. Another trough
over the Desert Southwest will move northeast to the Colorado/Utah
border by late Thursday, bringing another chance of showers and
thunderstorms to the region by the end of the week. After a cool
start to the week, temperatures will gradually moderate through
the rest of the period.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
