Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
455 AM MDT Wed Mar 29 2017

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...As the latest storm system moves
east away from Colorado today...should see gradual clearing from
northwest to southwest and and end to most of the light precipitation
falling on northeast Colorado this morning. Any additional snowfall
will be light and confined to the Palmer Divide area. Temperatures
today will remain below average but above average tonight under a
veil of high clouds. Relative humidities will remain high due to the
recent precipitation and wet soil conditions.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday through Sunday...Dry and warmer on
Thursday under a ridge of high pressure aloft. The next storm
system will move into Southern Utah on Friday and then into New
Mexico on Saturday. Expect deepening, moist upslope flow with
rain becoming widespread on the plains Friday afternoon and then a
mix of rain and snow Friday night and Saturday. The mountains and
foothills could see some potential heavy snow Friday night and
Saturday. Drier on Sunday and then another chance for showers by
early next week.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
