AN AREA OF RAIN AND SNOW ALONG WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE TO PUSH EAST ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGH VALLEYS
THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. SNOW LEVELS ARE NEAR 8500 FEET
OVER JACKSON...LARIMER AND GRAND COUNTIES...AND NEAR 9500 FEET
FURTHER SOUTH. THESE LEVELS WILL LOWER ANOTHER 1000 FEET BY
SUNRISE. THE SNOW MAY BE BRIEFLY HEAVY WITH A QUICK INCH OR TWO OF
ACCUMULATION...ALONG WITH SLUSH AND SNOW ON HIGHWAYS OVER THE
NORTHERN HIGH MOUNTAIN PASSES.

SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS OVER THE NORTHERN FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS AND
NEAR THE WYOMING BORDER AREA WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST AND PUSH
OFF THE FOOTHILLS THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. SNOW WILL BEGIN
TO MIX IN ABOVE 8000 FEET OVER THE FOOTHILLS OF LARIMER COUNTY.
THE BEST COVERAGE OF SHOWERS WILL OCCUR ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE
FROM GOLDEN TO GREELEY AND NEW RAYMER. A COUPLE LIGHTNING STRIKES
ARE POSSIBLE IN THE FOOTHILLS AND NEAR THE WYOMING BORDER...AND
GUSTY WINDS TO BETWEEN 30 AND 40 MPH ARE ALSO POSSIBLE NEAR THE
SHOWERS.

CONTINUE OVER THE NORTHEAST PLAINS OF COLORADO THROUGH THE
EARLY MORNING HOURS. MOST OF THESE WILL BE ALONG AND NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 76.
