AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE ROCKY
MOUNTAIN REGION THROUGH SATURDAY WITH A MODERATE SOUTHERLY FLOW
ALOFT OVER COLORADO. SOME MOISTURE IN THIS FLOW WILL PRODUCE A FEW
LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS THE HIGH COUNTRY THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
SNOW WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS ON SUNDAY AND CONTINUE
THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE MOVES
ACROSS THE STATE. DRIER WEATHER WILL RETURN EARLY NEXT WEEK AS UPPER
LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE BRIEFLY REBUILDS OVER THE REGION. THE NEXT
PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING ANOTHER CHANCE OF SNOW TO THE HIGH
COUNTRY BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK...WITH COLDER TEMPERATURES
MOVING INTO THE MOUNTAINS BY THE END OF THE WORK WEEK.
