UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE IS CENTERED JUST OFF THE WEST COAST OF THE
UNITED STATES...WITH AND UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE
CENTRAL PLAINS STATES. COLORADO LIES BETWEEN THESE TWO SYSTEMS UNDER
THE INFLUENCE OF A NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT. SOME MOISTURE COMBINED WITH
WEAK STORM SYSTEMS CAUGHT UP IN THE FLOW WILL RESULT IN UNSETTLED
WEATHER ACROSS THE HIGH COUNTRY THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK. WARMER AND
DRIER WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO RETURN TO THE MOUNTAINS BY THE MIDDLE
OF NEXT WEEK...AS UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS OVER THE ROCKY
MOUNTAIN REGION.
