GUSTY WINDS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGH VALLEYS OF NORTHERN COLORADO
BEGINNING LATE TONIGHT AND LASTING THROUGH THURSDAY. A STRONG COLD
FRONT WILL ALSO RACE SOUTH ALONG THE EAST FACE OF THE FRONT RANGE
WEDNESDAY MORNING USHERING IN COLDER TEMPERATURES ON GUSTY NORTHERLY
WINDS. WITH WINDS ON THE PLAINS TURNING EASTERLY DURING THE
DAY...LOOK FOR SNOWFALL TO BECOME WIDESPREAD OVER AND ALONG THE
FRONT RANGE WITH SNOWFALL HEAVING AT TIMES IN THE FOOTHILLS AND ON
THE NEARBY PLAINS BY THE EVENING. LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOWFALL WILL
CONTINUE IN THE REMAINING MOUNTAINS AND HIGH VALLEYS WEDNESDAY NIGHT
INTO THURSDAY WITH SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW POSSIBLE. THE GREATEST
SNOW ACCUMULATION WILL LIKELY OCCUR IN THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS AND
ON HIGHER EAST SLOPE OF THE FRONT RANGE WHERE ANYWHERE FROM 8 TO 16
INCHES OF SNOW WILL FALL BY MIDDAY THURSDAY.
