THE UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT RAIN AND SNOW TO THE HIGH
COUNTRY OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS WILL MOVE INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS
STATES BY WEDNESDAY MORNING. AS A RESULT...PRECIPITATION WILL
DECREASE OVERNIGHT. DRIER WEATHER IS EXPECTED ON WEDNESDAY AS A WEAK
AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE MOVES OVER THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION.
HOWEVER... THERE WILL BE ENOUGH MOISTURE AROUND TO PRODUCE SCATTERED
AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE ONCE AGAIN ON THURSDAY AND CONTINUE
THROUGH FRIDAY AS THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM APPROACHES COLORADO FROM THE
SOUTHWEST. THE SHOWERS WILL DECREASE ON SATURDAY...HOWEVER COOL
UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.
