NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS OF COLORADO ABOVE 10 THOUSAND FEET...

.A STORM SYSTEM MOVING NORTHWESTERN COLORADO WILL TRACK ACROSS
THE NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS OF COLORADO THIS EVENING. AS THE
STORM CONTINUES EASTWARD...TEMPERATURES WILL FALL WITH LIGHT TO
MODERATE SNOW EXPECTED.

ROADS OVER THE MOUNTAIN PASSES INCLUDING I-70 THROUGH THE
EISENHOWER TUNNEL AND LOVELAND...HOOSIER AND BERTHOUD PASSES MAY
BECOME ICY AND SLICK THIS EVENING. SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO
DIMINISH AFTER MIDNIGHT AS THE STORM SYSTEM EXITS THE STATE.

TONIGHT...

* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING...THEN TAPER OFF
  AFTER MIDNIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 7 INCHES...WITH THE GREATEST
  ACCUMULATIONS ALONG THE MORE EXPOSED WEST FACING SLOPES.

* WIND/VISIBILITY...WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH MAY
  PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING OF SNOW ON THE HIGH MOUNTAIN PASSES.

* IMPACTS...ROADS MAY BECOME ICY AND SNOW COVERED...MAKING TRAVEL
  DIFFICULT. VISIBILITIES MAY BRIEFLY BE REDUCED TO A FEW HUNDRED
  FEET IN THE HEAVIER SHOWERS.
