Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
504 AM EDT Sun May 12 2024

Low pressure tracking across the state will bring cool and
showery weather to much of Pennsylvania today, with the most
numerous showers and coolest conditions over the eastern part of
the state. Highs will range from around 50 over the Pocono
Mountains, to the mid 60s across the southwest corner of the
commonwealth.

High pressure will build into the region tonight, accompanied by
fair and cool conditions, with valley fog possible in the central
part of the state. Lows will be mainly in the 40s.

The high pressure system will pass off of the east coast Monday,
resulting in a much warmer southwest flow. Much of the region will
be dry. However, low pressure tracking across the Eastern Great
Lakes could produce a shower or thunderstorm over the northern
half of the state. Highs Monday should be in the 70s with partly
sunny skies.
