.....SEPTEMBER 2015 WARMEST AND 7TH DRIEST ON RECORD.....

UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE WHICH DOMINATED THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION
FOR MUCH OF SEPTEMBER PRODUCED VERY WARM AND DRY WEATHER ACROSS
NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEASTERN COLORADO. AT DENVER INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT...27 OUT OF THE 30 DAYS HAD TEMPERATURES ABOVE NORMAL...WITH
ONLY ONE DAY (THE 18TH) BEING BELOW NORMAL. PRECIPITATION DURING THE
MONTH WAS VERY SCARCE WITH ONLY TWO DAYS OF VERY LIGHT RAINFALL
MEASURED.

TEMPERATURES:

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE AT DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FOR THE
MONTH OF SEPTEMBER WAS 69.4 DEGREES F WHICH WAS 6.0 DEGREES ABOVE
NORMAL. THIS MAKES SEPTEMBER 2015 THE WARMEST SEPTEMBER ON RECORD.
THERE WERE 7 DAYS DURING THE MONTH IN WHICH THE TEMPERATURE REACHED
OR EXCEEDED THE 90 DEGREE MARK...AND NO DAYS AT OR ABOVE 100
DEGREES. THE COLDEST SEPTEMBER ON RECORD WAS 54.7 DEGREES F BACK IN
1912. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE OF THE MONTH WAS 92 DEGREES WHICH
