Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

During the overnight hours, most of the region saw partly cloudy
skies with a few sprinkles in Southern Nebraska. Temperatures as
of one in the morning ranged from 39 in Wray, Colorado to 55 in
Norton, Kansas. Winds have ranged from calm to out of the north at
10 mph.

OUTLOOK... For today, mostly sunny skies are forecast along with
mild temperatures around the upper 60`s. Winds will remain from
the north through most of the day with speeds up to 20 mph and
gusts up to 30 mph. A showers and thunderstorms are possible this
evening and into the overnight hours. Overnight low temperatures
are forecast to drop into the 30`s and 40`s with winds shifting to
out of the southeast. Tomorrow, partly to mostly cloudy skies are
forecast across the region with the cloudier skies more likely
over Central Kansas and Central Nebraska. Highs are forecast to
climb near 70 while winds shift to out of the south at 15 to 25
mph. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible again during the
evening hours Wednesday.
