Another night of thunderstorm activity was ongoing across portions
of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. In the wake of the storms
across Oklahoma, a wake surface low was positioned across norther
Oklahoma and resulting in wind gusts near 60 mph. Temperatures
ranged from the 40s in northwest Kansas to near 70 in southeast
Kansas.

Additional showers and storms are expected this morning through
the afternoon across the lower Plains of Kansas and Oklahoma.
Afternoon temperatures are forecast to reach the 70s across much
of the central U S. Otherwise, rain chances decrease late this
evening into the overnight.
