West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure over the northern
waters tonight, will shift to the S portions later Sun and Sun
night and persist through Wed night. A low pressure trough or
warm front will move across the N waters Sun night into Mon. A
cold front will push SE across the northern waters late Mon and
Mon night then stall across the northern waters Tue. A weak area
of low pressure will move off the New Jersey coast Tue night and
pass E of the waters Wed night while pushing a cold front through
the central waters Wed night and into the southern waters Thu
and Thu night. Weak high pressure will build into the waters
behind the front Wed night into Thu night.
