Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
459 PM MDT Sat Oct 21 2017

.Discussion...

Dry weather will continue over the district with temperatures
returning to near to slightly above normal for Sunday and Monday.
A dry cold front will bring another surge of cooler air into
the southeast plains Monday afternoon which will drop back
temperatures again for Tuesday. Above normal temperatures will
return for Wednesday then a stronger storm system will bring the
potential for sharply colder temperatures and a chance for snow
for late week.

Smoke dispersion rates will drop into the poor category shortly
before sun down with strong surface based inversions persisting
through mid morning. Dispersions on Sunday will rise into the
Fair to good range for most areas by afternoon with some areas
of very good dispersions across the mountains where northwest
winds will be stronger. Improved dispersions can be expected
for Monday, particularly across the plains.
