Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
646 AM MST Tue Nov 21 2017

.Discussion...
Cooler temperatures will return to the district today behind a
cold front which will bring breezy northerly winds to the area
later this morning. Snow will continue across the central
mountains where a few inches of accumulation will be possible,
mainly north of Cottonwood Pass. A few brief showers will also
be possible across portions of the southeast plains, mainly this
morning.

Warmer and drier weather will return for the remainder of the
week with another passing disturbance bringing a dry cold front
to the area for Friday night and Saturday. Another system will
bring a slight chance for showers to portions of the district
early next week.

Most areas will see good to very good smoke dispersions this
afternoon due to breezy northerly winds. Lighter winds for
Wednesday will mean dispersions will stay around a category
lower than those of today.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
