Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
957 PM MST Tue Jan 16 2018

.Discussion...

Dry weather is expected through Friday. A potent Pacific storm
will move towards the region this weekend, and this may bring
critical fire weather conditions to the region on Friday, and
possibly on Saturday. Precipitation will begin to increase over
the mountains Friday night and move onto the plains by late
Saturday or Saturday night. Much colder wintry weather will
move across the district Saturday night into Sunday. Dry
weather will move back over the region early next week.

Smoke dispersion over the mountains will be poor tomorrow
afternoon and poor to fair on Thursday.

Smoke dispersion over the valleys and plains will be poor
both tomorrow afternoon and Thursday afternoon.
