...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR
THE I-25 CORRIDOR REGION FROM PUEBLO SOUTH TO THE NEW MEXICO
BORDER, AND THE SAN LUIS VALLEY...

.Discussion...

Critical fire weather conditions will occur across parts of the
district both this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. Areas that
will be impacted today will be the I-25 corridor region from
Colorado Springs to the New Mexico border. For tomorrow, the areas
that will be affected will be the I-25 corridor region from Pueblo
to the New Mexico border, and the San Luis Valley. Strong winds and
low humidity values will be the main concerns.

Looking farther into the forecast, critical fire weather conditions
may occur over the San Luis valley Thursday and Friday.

Starting later in the week and lasting into the weekend, cooler
weather is expected along with the chance of mountain snows and
rain showers on the plains.

Smoke dispersion will be excellent this afternoon and tomorrow
afternoon.
