Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
732 AM MDT Mon Aug 21 2017

.Discussion...
Monsoon moisture will make a brief return through mid week with
isolated to scattered thunderstorms across the district each
afternoon and evening. The main threat with thunderstorms will
be locally heavy rainfall with the potential for flash flooding
on area burn scars. Temperatures will be near normal today but
drop to below normal behind a cold front for Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms will decrease for Friday then a cold
front will increase the potential for showers and thunderstorms
again for the southeast mountains and plains for next weekend
while western mountains dry out.

Smoke dispersions will rise into the fair to good category
across the mountains this afternoon with good to very good
dispersions across the plains. Similar dispersions can be
expected for Tuesday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
