Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1013 AM MST Sat Feb 17 2018

...A fire weather watch has been issued for Sunday for gusty
winds, low humidity values and dry fuels for fire weather zones
222...226...227...228...229...230...231...232...233...234...
235...236 AND 237...which includes all of the Eastern Plains and
Fremont County...

.Discussion...

Broad westerly flow will spread across the region through this
weekend with with elevated fire weather concerns on Sunday.
Critical fire weather concerns due to low humidity values and
strong winds are expected over the Plains on Sunday. There are
also fire weather concerns on Monday as well. By Tuesday,
a storm system will bring increased moisture along the Continental
Divide with a period of heavy snowfall expected. Beyond mid
week, there is some uncertainty in the overall pattern evolution.

Very good smoke dispersions are forecast for this afternoon. Most
areas will see fair to good conditions overnight tonight due to
elevated winds.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
