Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
126 PM MDT Sat May 27 2017

.Discussion...

The eastern and central mountains, and the southeast plains should
see fairly widespread showers and thunderstorms develop today and
continue through the evening hours. The rest of the area should
see isolated to scattered showers and storms today. Heavy rainfall
on areas burn scars will be a concern for today, especially for the
Junkins and Hayden Pass burn scars.

On Sunday the higher terrain is expected to see another round of
showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours.
On Monday and Tuesday showers and thunderstorms are again expected
over the mountains and high valleys in the afternoon and evening
hours, with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms over
the plains. Then on Wednesday it looks like precipitation will
be fairly widespread across southern Colorado.

Over the mountains and high valleys, smoke dispersion is expected
to be very good or excellent this afternoon, and fair to good
Sunday afternoon. The southeast plains should have good to
excellent dispersion this afternoon, and good to very good
dispersion Sunday afternoon.
