National Weather Service Pueblo Co
114 PM MDT Sat Apr 29 2017

.Discussion...

Heavy snow will continue across the district today with focus
for snowfall shifting eastward tonight and eventually coming
to an end by mid day Sunday. Significant snowfall accumulations
can be expected with the heaviest amounts 8-15 inches with up to
2 feet across the Wet Mountains and Sangre De Cristo mountains.
6 to 12 inches with locally higher amounts will be possible across
the plains with the heaviest falling south of highway 50.

Dry weather will return for the first part of the work week with
another system bringing a fast shot of rain and snow for Tuesday
and Wednesday. Dry weather will return for the latter part of the
week.

Smoke dispersion rates will range from good to very good across
the eastern half of the district due to strong winds. Dispersions
across the mountains will generally be fair to good.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
