Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
924 AM MDT Thu Mar 30 2017

.Discussion...

An approaching low pressure system will bring a return of
precipitation to the Continental Divide starting this afternoon.
As this system slowly slides to the east, it will affect the
entire district through Saturday night. Precipitation will spread
across the region on Friday and Saturday with another round of
moderate to heavy snow possible for the mountains, and a
widespread wetting rain across the plains.

This system will pull away from the region Sunday morning. Then
another system will move across the region on Tuesday bringing yet
another round of precipitation to much of the region.

Surface-based inversions will begin to break this morning between
0900 and 1000, with ventilation rates improving to good to very
good for most locations by 1400. Inversions will once again
develop tonight beginning between 1900 and 2000.
