Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
921 PM MST Wed Feb 14 2018

.Discussion...

Near critical fire weather conditions will be possible once
again over the southeast plains on Thursday as gusty winds and
low RHs return. However, RHs are expected to remain above
critical thresholds so no highlights at this time.

In the mountains, snow will develop this evening and continue
through tomorrow morning. Strong winds and heavy snow will
result in blowing snow and poor visibilities over the higher
terrain, mainly along the Continental Divide. Scattered light
snow will be possible across the plains Thursday night as
a cold front moves through.

It`ll be cooler on Friday with a chance of snow showers early
across the east slopes and plains.

Generally dry weather is expected this weekend before another
storm system moves in Monday and lasts into mid week.

Afternoon ventilation will generally be excellent on Thursday
and good or better on Friday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
