Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
739 AM MST Sun Jan 14 2018

.Discussion...

Dry weather with above average temperatures can be expected
today. A front will move through southeast Colorado early
Monday morning and will bring low clouds, much cooler temperatures
and a chance for light snow for Monday. The western mountains
and high valleys will be dry on Monday and temperatures will still
be above average. Dry weather will return to the area on Tuesday,
but temperatures will still be below average over the southeast
plains and will be around to a little above average in the
mountains and high valleys. A weak weather system moves through
the area on Wednesday, but temperatures look a little warmer and
any precipitation should mostly be found over the mountains.
Thursday looks dry with above average temperatures.

Smoke dispersion today should be good over the mountain and
high valley areas, except the San Luis Valley, where dispersion
is expected to be fair. Across the southeast plains, smoke
dispersion this afternoon should generally be fair.

On Monday, good dispersion is expected in the mountain areas
with poor to fair dispersion elsewhere.
