Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
408 AM MDT Thu Jul 20 2017

.Discussion...

Today will be generally dry and hot. There will be a few
storms in the mountains, but not as much as yesterday.
Temperatures will be well into the 90s across the plains
and several 100F readings will also occur along the
lower arkansas river valley.

Tomorrow, moisture will increase in the mountains and
locally heavy rain will be possible. It will still be
hot over the plains, but temperatures will cool slightly.

Saturday appears to be the wettest day across the district.
It will also be cooler. Flash flooding over the burn scars
will be a concern.

On Sunday, the moisture will likely be shunted into New
Mexico and it will be relatively quite cool over most
of the district. The best chance of any rain will be
along the New Mexico border.

For next week, conditions are expected to more
climatological conditions.

Smoke dispersion will generally be good across the
district both this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon.
