Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
256 PM MST Thu Feb 16 2017

.Discussion...

Above normal temperatures are expected into the middle part
of next week as warm air persists over the southern Rockies.
Winds will be light into Friday, then increase again
Saturday and Sunday as weather systems moves across the area.
A weak disturbance will bring a slight chance for rain and
snow to the mountains from Friday into Friday night, with a
stronger system bringing rain and snow chances to most locations
from late Saturday night into Sunday. Dry and warmer weather
will return for early next week with the potential for another
storm system next Thursday.

Smoke dispersion will stay mainly poor over the mountains on
Friday, with fair to good values over the plains. On Saturday,
afternoon dispersion will reach good or better levels across
most of the region.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
