Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
335 PM MDT Thu Oct 19 2017

.Discussion...

Generally dry and warm conditions through Friday with
only a few spotty showers possible over the mountains
tonight. Friday will be windy, dry and warm ahead of an
approaching upper level disturbance. Near critical fire
weather conditions will be possible over parts of the area.

Over the weekend, a weak upper level disturbance and cold front
will move through the district. This will bring breezy and cooler
weather to the district on Saturday with temperatures falling back
to near average. Isolated to scattered showers will be possible
over northern portions of the district with any accumulating
snow confined to the higher terrain of the central mountains.

Sunday and Monday, dry and warmer weather will return with
temperatures climbing back above average. Tuesday, another
dry cold front could move through the district returning
temperatures to near average. Wednesday looks warmer again
with another front possible on Thursday.

Afternoon ventilation rates will generally be excellent on
Friday and good to very good on Saturday.
